In GMP-regulated production, temperature sensors must be calibrated on a fixed schedule. Traditionally that means stopping production, opening the line and recleaning. Quick Connect removes all three steps.
The pocket is clamped or welded into the line — in-line pockets arrive pre-welded in their own pipe section, pressure-tested to 40 bar and ready for orbital welding, so no certified welds or radiographic testing on site. The process connection stays in place — you never remove it to reach the sensor.
The measuring insert releases through the tool-free bayonet coupling in seconds. The process stays closed and the hygienic barrier stays intact.
Click a pre-calibrated spare insert in, and the measuring point is back in service in minutes — or recalibrate the insert wherever your calibration routine runs, at the line or in the lab. The process stays closed either way.
Every Quick Connect sensor is a pocket, a measuring insert and a head. What changes is how the pocket sits in your process — choose the access that fits your line.

The sensor’s clamp pocket sits in a standard Tri-Clamp fitting — ¾" APC, 1½" DN38 or 2" DN51 (ISO 2852). RT-BCQ and RT-BCQ-D are delivered as head, measuring insert and clamp pocket in one unit, ready to mount.

For small-bore pipes where a standard pocket does not fit. The pocket arrives pre-welded in its own pipe section, pressure-tested to 40 bar and ready for orbital welding into the line — no certified welds or radiographic testing on site.

Welded directly into the pipe or vessel wall and matched to the 167 mm measuring insert — with the same bayonet coupling on top.

Nothing enters the process. The clamp-on sensors measure on the outside of the pipe and lift off through the same quick-release coupling for calibration — with head or with cable.
Sensors, inserts and pockets connect through the same coupling and share standardised insert lengths — components combine freely and spare-part inventory stays small.

Media-contact parts are AISI 316L stainless steel (EN 1.4404), the standard hygienic grade. Duplex stainless steel is available on request for aggressive media. Surfaces are mechanically polished to < 0.8 µm Ra as standard, with electropolishing to < 0.5 µm Ra available — minimising bacterial adhesion and supporting CIP/SIP cleaning.
