Application
The RT-BCQ is the Quick Connect hygienic temperature sensor for clamp connections – protection head, interchangeable measuring insert and clamp thermowell in one unit.
A complete measuring point with clamp connection
The RT-BCQ connects to the process with a clamp, and the thermowell it sits in is part of the sensor. Head, insert and thermowell are supplied as one unit, so the measuring point is complete once the clamp is closed.
The insert comes out without opening the process
The measuring insert, type RT-BCQ-IN, is released by hand through the bayonet coupling while the clamp connection stays in place, so the measuring point can be serviced without opening the line. The same insert also fits RT-BCQ-D, the version with a display in the head.
Part of the Quick Connect program
The RT-BCQ shares the bayonet coupling and standardised insert lengths with the other sensors and thermowells in the Quick Connect program, so one spare insert type can serve several measuring points.
