The Quick Connect Sensor Program

The Quick Connect sensor program is a modular hygienic temperature sensor platform for pharmaceutical and food & beverage production. The process connection stays in the line; the measuring insert, protection head and transmitter connect through a tool-free bayonet coupling.

No production stop — the insert clicks out while the process stays closed
No tools — the bayonet coupling connects everything in one motion
No recleaning — the hygienic barrier stays intact
Seven products, one coupling — thousands of units in service in European pharma projects.

Every measuring point in your facility

Quick Connect is the flagship — but a regulated production facility measures temperature in many more places. The hygienic range covers the critical ones.

RT-BC-GEA hygienic temperature sensor with GEA-compatible flange
In-line & tank measurement

Temperature directly in pipes and tanks — from dead-zone-free fittings to fast-response sensors for small pipe diameters.

Quick Connect clamp-on temperature sensor mounted on the outside of a pipe
Non-invasive measurement

Pipe surface temperature without media contact — mounted and removed without opening the process.

RT-RC1-Autoclave temperature sensor for steam sterilization
Sterilization & validation

Temperature during steam sterilization — autoclave sensors for up to 250 °C and external validation points.

RR1-SRF hygienic room temperature sensor in stainless steel
Room & environment

Air temperature in cleanrooms, cold stores and controlled environments — AISI 316L housing, IP67.

Frequently asked questions

Which temperature sensors does a hygienic production facility need?

Five kinds of measuring points cover most hygienic facilities: in-line and tank measurement in pipes and vessels, non-invasive clamp-on measurement on the outside of pipes, sterilization and autoclave monitoring, room and environment monitoring in cleanrooms and cold stores, and the thermowells that give sensors access to the process. The Quick Connect program covers the process points with tool-free sensor replacement.

What is the difference between invasive and clamp-on temperature measurement?

An invasive sensor measures directly in the media through a pocket in the pipe or tank. A clamp-on sensor measures on the outside of the pipe — nothing enters the process, which makes it well suited for retrofits and for verification points where the line must stay untouched. Both are available in the Quick Connect program.

What accuracy can I specify?

Pt100 and Pt1000 elements in class A (IEC 60751), or 1/3, 1/6 or 1/10 DIN — up to ±(0.03 + 0.0005 × T) °C.

Are the sensors CIP/SIP compatible?

Yes. Media-contact parts are AISI 316L, mechanically polished as standard with electropolishing down to < 0.5 µm Ra available — designed for Clean-in-Place and Steam-in-Place procedures.

What documentation is included?

Documentation is ordered with the sensor: 3.1 material certificate, certificate of origin, certificate of conformity and surface roughness report. In-line thermowells carry an engraved HEAT number for full traceability.
