Quick Connect In-line Thermowell

The In-line is a weld-in thermowell pre-welded into its own pipe section for small hygienic pipes. The sensor pocket sits in a pressure-tested pipe piece with orbital-weldable ends – the Quick Connect coupling on top takes the sensor head with measuring insert.

Pre-welded and pressure tested – no certified welding on site

The pocket is factory-welded into the pipe section and pressure tested to 40 bar – strength tested with the sensor head mounted. Both the pocket and the pipe section are verified to the specified surface finish before they are welded together, and the documentation follows the finished assembly. The pipe ends are ready for orbital welding, so no certified weld or radiographic testing is needed at the installation site. Each piece carries an engraved HEAT number for traceability.

Sensor replacement without opening the process

The bayonet coupling releases the head with the measuring insert – type RT-BCQ-IN – while the pocket stays welded in the line. Replacement and calibration happen without opening the process.

For small pipes where standard pockets do not fit

Standard thermowells rarely fit small hygienic pipes. The In-line integrates the pocket in pipe dimensions 3/4″ (DN20) and 1″ (DN25) as standard – other sizes from ¼” to DN50 on request – with all parts in stainless steel EN 1.4404 (AISI 316L). Part of the Quick Connect program.
