The RT-BCQ-IN is the measuring insert of the Quick Connect program, the part that comes out of the measuring point for calibration or replacement, supplied with the sanitary protection head.
The insert is released by hand through the bayonet coupling. The thermowell or sensor body it sits in stays in the process line, so the measuring point can be serviced without opening the process.
The insert connects through the bayonet coupling shared across the Quick Connect program, in standardised lengths. It goes into the thermowells in the program, including the in-line thermowell and drilled (solid machined) thermowells, and into the RT-BCQ and RT-BCQ-D sensors, so one spare insert type can cover several measuring points.
The insert is supplied with the sanitary stainless steel head and screw cap as standard, either with an M12 or Harting plug pre-mounted in the head, or with a pre-mounted cable.
