DIN form B temperature transmitter for mounting in a sensor head
2-wire temperature transmitter with HART 5 or HART 7 communication and ATEX approval – a DIN form B module that sits in the sensor head.

Application

The 5337D is a HART 5 or HART 7 temperature transmitter with intrinsic safety approval for hazardous gas and dust areas. It converts the sensor signals into a 4–20 mA output.

Inputs it accepts

Linearised temperature measurement with Pt50 to Pt1000, Ni100 to Ni1000 or a thermocouple, from one sensor or as the difference or average of two. It also converts a linear resistance change – from a valve position or an ohmic level sensor – and amplifies a bipolar mV signal, both to 4–20 mA.

Mounted in the sensor head

The transmitter is a DIN form B module, so it sits in the sensor heads and terminal enclosures used with our temperature sensors. It can also be mounted on a DIN rail with a clamp.
