[CONFIGURATOR]
A Marine Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor must be able to handle high vibration, extreme temperatures, and demanding marine conditions. The REG2 / TEG2 model is marine certified for 2-stroke diesel engines, designed with a solid drilled protective pocket to reduce vibration and a spring-loaded mineral insulated (MI) insert for precise and fast temperature readings.
This service-friendly design allows for sensor replacement without removing the protective pocket, minimizing downtime and reducing long-term maintenance costs.
Common use cases include:
✓ Marine propulsion systems – Optimized for 2-stroke diesel engines in container ships, bulk carriers, and tankers.
✓ Exhaust gas monitoring – Ensures accurate temperature control for efficiency, emissions compliance, and engine diagnostics.
✓ High-vibration applications – The pocket’s reduced tip design absorbs mechanical stress, preventing sensor failure.
✓ Serviceability & maintenance – The insert can be replaced without removing the protective pocket, reducing downtime.
