Temperature Sensor – Type BP2 (RT-BP2)

Type BP2 is an industrial and marine temperature sensor with a DIN EN 175301-803-A valve plug connection and an interchangeable measuring insert for temperature measurement in process systems. The compact valve plug provides a secure electrical connection while allowing the sensor to be connected and disconnected without rewiring.

It is suitable for measuring the temperature of liquids and gases in closed pipes and tanks. It can be used at temperatures up to 250 °C, where reliable temperature measurement and a compact electrical connection are required.

Routine calibration or sensor replacement normally requires the process connection to be opened. With Type BP2, the measuring insert can be removed and replaced while the protection tube and welded coupling remain installed in the process, preserving the pressure boundary.

Approved for marine and offshore applications, it is suitable for cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil, refrigeration and general industrial process systems.
