Application

Type RR1-P is a wall-mounted sensor for measuring room and outdoor air temperatures in buildings, aboard ships and in industrial facilities.

The IP67-rated ABS plastic housing protects against dust and water ingress. Resistance to shocks and vibration makes it suitable for demanding environments, including engine rooms. The sensor is approved for marine and offshore applications.

Properties

Sensor element
Pt100 or Pt1000 to IEC 60751 for temperatures from −40 to +80 °C.
Marine approvals
Approved by DNV, LR, BV, ABS, NK and RINA for marine applications.
Offshore approvals
Approved by DNV, LR and ABS for offshore applications.
Housing
ABS plastic housing for direct wall mounting.
Ingress protection
IP67 protection against dust and water ingress.
Mechanical resistance
Resistant to shocks and vibration for use in demanding environments.
Protection tube
316 stainless steel protection tube for corrosion resistance.
Signal processing
Optional transmitter mounted inside the housing for direct 4–20 mA output.
